HOW HIGH showed much speed when called upon, overcame interference at the eighth post and outlasted MANYA in the final strides. The latter, a factor all the way, had no mishaps. BOLILEE was pinched I back after the start, but went to the outside and finished fastest, of all. TERRIER tired under pressure at the finish. GOLDEN FATE bore over sharply soon after the start. WAR HERO, fractious at the post, was rated close up all the way and, responding to urging in the stretch after going to the outside, wore down SCOUT MASTER in the final drive. The latter, on the inside in the early stages, went to the outside of WAR in the stretch and finished well. WAR shewed early speed under restraint, but tired. JIMMY SUTRO had no mishaps. FEUDAL LORD was in a jam at the start. ALL PLAY quit badly. BRAVISSIMA had no mishaps.
