f .DORVAL PARK TURF NOTES 4, g Racing secretary Bury reported that there are now twenty nominations for the renewal of the Quebec Derby scheduled for Saturday, the closing day of the session. The latest received is from Fortune P. Ryan, who has nominated Action, just now racing in New York. It is expected that a field of at least a dozen will start in the race. Jockey Mitchell cancelled all his engagements due to the accident to his foot suffered Monday in the last race when Whoop-tedoo threw him against the fence before the start of the race. Leo Dandurand stated Monday that the Dorval Jockey Club would positively give their second meeting as scheduled. His partner, Joe Cattarinich, will reach Montreal Wednesday when some other announcements will be made regarding their racing plans. Jockey H. " W. Todd was added to the riding colony here. He came in with the horses owned by J . M. Reed and scored his first victory when Dewey Fly won,
