Charles Bacharach, owner of the Southland Stable, will come from his summer home at Pass Christian, Miss., next week for an indefinite visit. The Shandon Farms Downpour came out of the first race Wednesday with several cuts and will be on the shelf for some time. Milton Reiser plans to ship his stable to Lincoln Fields from here and then to La-tonia. Jack Middleton has arranged to transfer the Greentree Stable horses to Lincoln Fields in time for the opening of that meeting September 3. P. G. Woods took a lease on the apprentice contract of W. Whitley for the remainder of the meeting. The lad is under contract to Roscoe Goose. Kirby Ramsey plans to ship the Mrs. E. Carney horses from here to Lincoln Fields and then to Latonia. Jockey F. Burley was suspended Wednesday for three days by the starter. J. B. Respess, who has a division of his stable here in charge of C. H. Trotter, returned to his home at Erlanger, Ky., but expects to return for another visit before the close of the meeting.
