DONATE came through on the inside entering the stretch and held on well. SUN TWEED improved his position and finished gamely. DANCING BOY challenged gamely in the stretch. VENTUROSO propped at the start. CHLO BOY tired after racing with CHICKAHOMINY. The latter quit fast. SEB moved into command with a rush, was rated along, saved ground and had no mishaps. DAILY NEWS began slowly, but finished fast. WONDERFUL, under restraint while close to the pacemaker, tired badly in the stretch. SHAN TUNG was badly outrun early. SIMPLE SINGER raced forwardly for half a mile. REVEILLE BOY began in a tangle, improved his position steadily, went to the outside enuring th stretch, but bore over sharply at the eighth post and impeded PARI-MUTUEL, then drew away. The latter raced restrained, then moved up fast on the stretch turn, came again after being impeded and wore down MASKED KNIGHT at the end. The latter, closest to the early pace, finished well. The latter moved into contention with a rush, was placed under restraint and finished gamely. SNAP BACK was placed under restraint back of the pace, moved up stoutly when called upon entering the stretch, but faltered when placed under pressure in the final eighth. BUBBLE UP had no mishaps.
