r-- - - 1 Lincoln Fields Announces Admission Col. M. J. Winn, executive director of Lincoln Fields Jockey Club, officially announces that the fall meeting will begin Saturday, September 3, continuing for thirty-one days. Everything is in readiness at the beautiful plant on the Dixie highway, and a successful season of high-class racing is assured with the leading thoroughbreds of Illinois, Kentucky and New York entered for the various events. Applications for stall room is taxing the capacity of the plant. The condition book for the first seven days, prepared by W. H: Shelley, racing secretary, has been distributed to horsemen. There will be eight races daily, and the purses will range from 00 to ,500. It provides an interesting and varied program, assuring close contests between all classes, rich purses being offered for" horses in the handicap division. Colonel Winn makes the special announcement that the C. and E. I. Railroad Company has reduced the round trip fare to Lincoln Fields to 75 cents and will provide fast and prompt service.
