v 1 PIMLICO TURF NOTES " s Col. Phil Chinn has arranged to conduct yearling trials of a number of young horses he has for sale. They will be tried at the Timonium track Sunday morning at 10 oclock. J. C. Coburn sent word that he was shipping horses from New York to Laurel, due to his being unable to get stalls at Bowie. Phil Reuter arrived from Lexington, where he made arrangements to ship eighteen yearlings and seven older horses, the property of John Marsch, to New Orleans. They will be quartered in a private barn at the Fair Grounds. The ten horses, which Reuter is racing here, will be shipped to New Orleans at the conclusion of the Bowie meeting. Autumnal and Chookie G. are the latest additions to the schooling list. A steeplechase race, exclusively for mules, will be run in connection with the November 12 meeting at Berryville, Va. Charles McLennan distributed Bowie books among the horsemen today. He is also accepting badge lists for the Southern Maryland Agricultural Associations session which opens November 14.
