HIES OH PICKS MIAMI STABLE LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 4. While in Lexington Wednesday to inspect the yearlings at Morton L. Schwartz Elsmeade Farm, J. W. Marrs Clarkland Farm, Horace Davis and Brothers Bluegrass Heights Farm, and Walter J. Salmons Mereworth Stud, Max Hirsch stated that it is his intention to race a string of twelve horses at Hialeah Park this winter. Seven of those to be taken are the property of Morton L. Schwartz, and they include Barcelona Pete, Gold Basis, Proven, and four yearlings, as follows: Brown filly, by High Time Queen of Jest; brown filly, by Brown Bud Sunset Gun; chestnut colt, by Chance Play Eventide; chestnut colt, by Upset Summit. Clock Tower half-brother to Gusto, four-year-old black or brown colt by Snob H. Daylight Saving, was returned this week to Elsmeade Farm and is to go into the stud there next spring.
