CREEK, taken in hand for a mile, disposed of IRISH BULLET going to the twelfth fence and, jumping boldly when in front, was never seriously menaced. OUTLAW moved up resolutely when called upon, challenged gamely when called upon going to the fifteenth fence, but tired steadily in the closing half mile. KINGS CRIER, a factor throughout, finished gamely. HUFFY could not threaten the leaders when put to a drive. IRISH BULLET showed plenty of speed for a mile and a half, was bothered by the riderless RIDE-AWAY at the tenth fence, but tired badly thereafter. The others were outrun. The latter went around the others and closed gamely. WALTER H., in the thick of contention throughout, held on resolutely. ALANTEE, slow to get going, Imished resolutely. DAUDET and ARROWSWIFT were used up setting the pace. BOBBING was shuffled back going to the first turn. ABSOLUTE began slowly, tried to come through on the inside, but fell back steadily. STATECRAFT showed brief early speed. ROCK POINT began slowly and lacked speed. SIR KENDAL, hustled along to reach the winner, moved into the lead in the closing eighth, but tired suddenly approaching the finish. DONYA, prominent all the way, was eased up near the end and almost lost third money. LUCKY CHINA did not threaten the leaders. HOME SHORE was on the outside all the way. CHLOEDA1R had no mishaps. The latter, racing in her best form, went to the outside in the stretch and closed fast. PENNATE, under strong pressure, finished gamely. SANS COIN tired after racing in the thick of contention. CAERLEON showed a eood performance. RENAISSANCE could not improve his position. SEA FOX showed early speed. MY PURCHASE beean slowly. INSTIGATOR quit.
