t BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES I $, . $ Herbert Bayard Swope made his first appearance of the meeting Decoration Day. Preston Burch, with the Foxcatcher Farm Stable and other horses, arrived from Maryland. J. H. Louchheim came over from Phila- delphia for Wednesday afternoons racing. The Anall Stables Larranaga and W. R. Coes Osculator, which raced at Bowie Tuesday, were returned to Belmont Park. Jockey J. Kurtsinger returned from Bowie and resumed riding Wednesday. Joseph E. Widener cabled his congratulations to Lord Derby immediately after the result of the Epsom Derby. Jockeys Johnny McTaggart, Harvey L. Elston and R. Leischman arrived from Maryland.
