RIVERSIDE OPENS SEPT. 30 KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 10. Riverside Park will probably open its fall meeting September 30 and run for either thirteen or nineteen days of racing, it was reported here today. William P. Kyne, general manager of the track, is at present busy conducting meetings at Portland, Ore., and has other sessions brewing in California,, but he is understood to be laying his plans to ship horses to Riverside from the West coast in time to stage a good fall meeting here. Upwards of a hundred horses were sent from Riverside at the end of the summer session, July 4, and it is expected that most of these will be returned here. In addition, many horses will likely come from Chicago, Fair-mount and Dade Park.
