ANOTHER NEW YORK BILL ALBANY, N. Y., Aug. 10. New York state legislators are still toying with racing bills. A relief measure calculated to yield thousands of dollars annually to the state treasury was introduced today by Assemblyman Edward P. Doyle, democrat, of Kings County. He proposes to permit the investment in participating shares of stock in horses racing at New York tracks. These participating shares would be issued in the name of a particular horse or stable, entitling the owners to participate in the daily, weekly or monthly earnings of the horse. The corporation issuing the stock would be required to pay the state a fee of ,500 for each day that races are run. The shares of stock would be issued in denominations of from to ,000. All legislation considered during the present special session of the legislature must receive the recommendation of Governor Lehman. As he has failed to sanction another race track bill, it is doubtful that he will urge the passage of Assemblyman Doyles bill.
