WILL TAKE DERBY NOMINATIONS CICERO, 111., Aug. 10. Joseph McLennan leaves Friday for Saratoga, where he will accept nominations for the 0,000 added Chicago Derby and ,000 added John C. Schank Memorial Handicap, Hawthorne Stakes closing Tuesday, and also assist horsemen in charge of eastern candidates for the 5,000 added Hawthorne Gold Cup, in arranging for the transfer West of their respective hopefuls. The Chicago Derby is for three-year-olds and will be staged over the mile and one-quarter route on September 2, closing day of the meeting, while the Schank Memorial, for three-year-olds and upward, will be run at six and one-half furlongs on August 26.
