COLUMBUS OHIO NOTES Jack McPnerson is sending five of the John Marsch horses to Beulah Park for rac ¬ ing during the meeting which begins next Saturday They were expected Tuesday and it is said this stable will be represented in the Inaugural Handicap opening day fea ¬ ture over the six furlongs distance Nomi ¬ nations ThursdayH for this event close Thursday H D Shepard general manager Addjson F Miller treasurer and A B Miller sec ¬ retary returned to Columbus after taking in the Kentucky Derby and as a result of their visit to Louisville a number of addi ¬ tional applications for stable room were re ¬ ceived from owners preparing to divide their strings stringsAmong Among the good horses in training at Beu ¬ lah Park are Betty Farrell Silver Wave Heart Break Flag Wave The King Beleve itornot Red Grange Nick D and Lincoln Plaut PlautL L Belleu has arrived from Louisville with five horses and E J OConnell came in with five Mont Sanders brought Ultimate Vote and Curry Girl from Benton 111 111The The Beulah Park track is in perfect con ¬ dition and there are few horses that have been unable to show fast time in their trials According to track superintendent R L Shepard nearly every horse on the ground is ready for the opening day races next Saturday
