CHARITY DAY AT LOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 19 With a good program featuring the Junior Board of Trade Handicap engaging Coflier Frank Ormont Dusty Dawn Jessie Dear I Prevail and Ridge Mor arranged there is every prospect that Mondays oneday meeting at Churchill Downs in the interest of charity may prove one of the most successful ven ¬ tures of its kind Sponsored by the Junior Board of Trade and endorsed and supported by every civic fraternal and business or ¬ ganization of the city the event is expected to produce more than 20000 The entire net proceeds will be diverted to the com ¬ munity chest by the sponsoring associations All employes of Churchill Downs are donat ¬ ing their services The management is mak ¬ ing no charge whatsoever for use of the plant and horsemen are racing for smaller purses than were hung up during the regu ¬ lar meeting that closed today
