SUSPICIOUS FAST SPRINTER Under Well Judged Ride Veteran VeteranMare Mare Scores Second Win in inCharles Charles Town Feature CHARLES TOWN W Va June 21 L Simmons Suspicious scored her secbrid win in three starts at the meeting when she was a front running winner of the fivC furlongs of the Packers Valley Purse featured offer ¬ ing at Charles Town today Opposed to the winner were five fleet sprinters and at the finish it was Veritas which was one length back to be second On the inside and lapped oh Veritas Dixie Bee was a fast closing third Washout Justa Sunbeam and Camphor Ball completed the field and finished as named From a good start Suspicious had speed to immediately take command When straight on the back stretch she settled into her best stride and was placed under re ¬ straint Nearest Suspicious was Veritas with Dixie Bee next before Washout This order was maintained throughout the short sprint Entering the stretch Veritas was sent toward a narrow opening on the rail but Munoz blocked the move and Veritas was forced to take up Barr astride Veritas lodged a claim of foul which was not al ¬ lowed as Suspicious was clear at the time timeThere There was another excellent attendance on hand The track had bdcome fast over night and overhead conditions were ideal
