! ; 5 r 1 " ; - 3 - 1 LEXINGTON TURF N0TES1 s $ Leo J. Marks came from his home at Co- lumbus, Ohio, and, after a conference with trainer Harry S. Hart at Le Mar Stock Farm Stable Wednesday, it was announced that a string of twenty-five horses will be shipped next week to Detroit. After Detroit the string will go tos Arlington Park. Meanwhile eight or ten otner horses will be kept in training at the farm to have fresh horses come into the string for fall and winter racing. Marooned, which arrived from Texas Sunday with a fever and temperature of 104, was reported Wednesday by Dr. D. L, Proc-1 tor to be better, but not out of danger. Ma-t rooned, of course, will not be in the shipment to Detroit.
