1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES S : $ Jockey Nick Wall was an arrival from New York. He will look after the saddle duties for the P. B. Codd string. Jockey Herman Schutte joined the local riding colony. Schutte came here from Louisville, Ky. C. J. Meister vanned in from Pimlico with Swashbuckler, belonging to Mrs. J. Fisher, Jr.; Boston Brook, the property of H. R. Dickens, and Old Master and Dolentia, which carry his own silks. Trainer W. A. Crawford unloaded the pair of juveniles, Herbndas and Onus, purchased in New York. They are the property "of B. N. Kane. P. B. Cpdd and M. J. Beauchamp are the latest trainers to be granted licenses by the New Hampshire Racing Commission. The G. W. Ogle string, numbering half a dozen, arrived at Rockingham Park from New York. It is expected that A. G. Vanderbilt, who is campaigning a division of his extensive string at Rockingham Park, will pay a visit to the Salem track before the end of the week. Jockey Mack Winters arrived from New York. Gus Plaster has taken over the book of apprentice J. Johnson, and will make the boys engagements in the future. Apprentice Carl Hanford reported ill to the clerk of the scales, and was forced to cancel his mounts Wednesday afternoon.
