BLUE BONNETS TURF NOTES j e J. Duggan arrived from New York with the three-year-old bay filly Polydeena, which he acquired from William Zeigler, Jr. Jockey F. Fellows arrived from Thorn-cliffe Park and will ride free lance at the local meetings. Jockey Joe Woods was fined 5 by the starter for disobedience at the post and failure to assist his mount. Jockey J. D. Smith was also fined 5 for rough riding. Henry Pigeon, a groom in the stable of W. T. Trenholme, suffered a broken nose and severe face lacerations when he was kicked in the face by Wee Toddler n.
