PETITE LADY broke fast, was in the good going all the way, shook off CRACKER DANCE entering the stretch and, holding on gamely, held KELTNER safe. The latter broke slowly and was far back for the first half mile, closed gamely in the stretch, but hung near the end. WATCH IN, well up all the way but on the outside, finished gamely. CHIMING BELLS took the lead from the start and, making all her own pace, easily held the field safe. BRIGHT FLOWER was closest to the winner all the way and made a game bid in the stretch, but was not good enough. MORROLL raced wide while entering contention, came to the inside in the stretch and closed well. MOSS BOND went well. HUDSON BAY tired badly. GOLDEN MOON was left at the post. THROUGH FAIRLY, well placed in the early running, raced STONE BROOK into submission quickly and, drawing away in the stretch, easily held THOMAS SETH safe. The latter showed early speed, dropped back approaching the stretch, turn, came again in the stretch and finished gamely; STONE BROOK, rushed into the lead on the outside, showed goqd speed, but tired in the final eighth. CRYSTAL FLYER finished fast. HOT SHOT raced evenly. ELEGANT lyjlSS unseated her rider at the post and another rider was substituted. BLANDRIS, unable . to keep up in the early part, came to the outside in the stretch and finished gamely. DOUBLE DATE was on the inside in the deepest going and tired. SCOTCH PEPPER was outrun.
