BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES and $ W. P. Kyne received word from Charles Graham, owner of the Seals that the coast , league game schedule for the afternoon on May 9, when the 0,000 Bay Meadows Handicap, is run, will be postponed, and staged in the evening. This is in order to permit the ball fans to see the big turf battle. Horses of similar names working at Bay Meadows have given the dockers some trouble Guidolight and Guide Right. The Home-bred Stakes of 1938 which will be renewed at Bay Meadows, will close on August 15, same day as the Tanf oran Lassie Stakes, according to announcement made Tuesday. The Homebred is for California foals, a sporting race in which all breeders have an equal chance.
