NEW KENTUCKY TAX BILL LEXINGTON, Ky April 22 Designed to become effective April 25, opening day of the spring meeting-at Churchill Downs, a taxing measure was passed late yesterday in the house of representatives of the Kentucky legislature at Frankfort, 82 to 0. The bill, which goes immediately to the senate, provides that there shall be paid license tax of ,500 each racing day at Churchill Downs. ,000 daily at Latonia, 00 daily at Dade Park and 00 daily at Keeneland. In addition there is to be paid by patrons of the courses fifteen cents on each ticket of admission, including passes. Formerly there was no tax on admissions and both Churchill Downs and Latonia were taxed ,500 daily.
