BELMONT PARK NOTES $ e Jockey J. McGrath, steeplechase rider, was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding in the second race. Louis Tauber will leave on June 14 for France where he will take over the R. B. Strassburger horses to train. Jockeys Nick Wall and Ira Hanford will resume riding here Thursday following suspensions by Churchill Downs stewards. W. J. Reeve arrived from the West Tuesday morning and reported to trainer H. J. Thompson of the E. R. Bradley stable, who secured the boys services from Kay Spence until October 15. Reeve will do the light weight riding for the stable and his outside engagements will be made by Mose Cossman. Funeral services for Laverne Fator were held in Jamaica Tuesday morning and attended by a representative racing delegation. Jack Healey returned from Louisville, Ky., where he saddled C. V. Whitneys Two Bob for the Kentucky Oaks. R. B. Strassburger, who confines his racing to France and England, was among Tuesdays visitors. He is here to attend the Republican convention.
