1 1 NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES I Jockey Kopel was suspended for three days for not keeping his mount straight during the stretch run in the fifth race Monday. Jockey "Moose" Peters, leading American rider of 1934, will make his first 1936 appearance in New England, Wednesday, having been specially engaged to ride Sun-rap for the Foxcatcher Farms in the Betsy Williams Stakes. Mrs. A. M. Creechs Open Range, a bad post actor in recent years, has been schooled blindfolded at the gate and acts perfectly. Trainer Monte Parke will try to borrow the "Frank Kearns" patented blinkers for use j in the horses next race. These blinkers completely blindfold a horse at the gate, but a j cord pulled by the rider at the start releases ! the eye pieces and gives the horse perfect vision for the running. Three fillies and a colt were shipped in Tuesday morning by Duval Headley. Pelerine, which starts in the Betsy Williams, Wednesday, the four-year-old Bee Line and two-year-olds Apogee and All Agog. Jockey A. Craig left here Tuesday morning for Detroit where he will ride for P. O, Anderson. W. G. Jackson had his first log up Tuesday since the serious accident in Florida some months ago.
