RAISES TEXAS MUTUEL TAKE AUSTIN, Texas, Oct 28. A section of the omnibus tax bill to raise funds for old age pensions, sent by the state legislature to Governor AHred for his signature Tuesday night, increases the commission of the states race tracks from certificate wagering from ten per cent to eleven per cent, with an increase of the states share of the "take" from two and one-half per cent to four percent. Under the new provision the tracks share is reduced from seven and one-half per cent to seven per cent.
