CHARLES TOWN MEETING BEGINS NOVEMBER 30 CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., Oct. 28. President Al J. Boyle of the Charles Town Jockey Club stated that his association has decided to offer one 00 purse, three 00 purses, and three 00 purses daily during the twelve-day meeting which is scheduled to start November 30 here. Official post time and other details have been presented to the West Virginia Racing Commission. When they are approved, Boyle will make them public. A crew of workmen is now painting the grandstand, clubhouse, paddock, administration building and barns. The roads and walks in the grounds are being repaired and the racing strip is prepared for next months sport, which marks the end of the 1936 eastern racing season. Horsemen who plan to race at Charles Town should send stall requests at once to the Charles Town Jockey Club, Charles Town. W. Va.
