REPEAL FORCES SET BACK AUSTIN, Texas. April 5.-An effort to set the Bradbury bill, designed to repeal pari-mutuel racing in this state for an early hearing, failed, at least temporarily, today. The senate refused to lay aside another bill, which it had under consideration, so that a motion to set the betting repeal bill for a hearing Wednesday would be in order. The vote against side-tracking pending business was 16 to 13,
