FITZSIMMONS HORSES WORK AT AQUEDUCT NEW YORK, N. Y., April 5. Trainer ; James Fitzsimmons worked many of his horses at Aqueduct today at a fast pace. Moonton and Melodist, Kentucky Derby candidates, breezed half a mile in :49. Snark, which is being pointed for the Paumonok Handicap on opening day, April 15, at Jamaica, went a half mile in :47. Dizzy Dame and Draw Bridge worked a half mile in :23, :35 and :49. Gold Quest and Lucky Pledge went the same distance in :355i and :49. Riparian and Fore covered the distance two-fifths of a second slower, their time being :3G and :49t3. None of the two-year-olds breezed.
