LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Wayne Wright and P. Ryan were the outstanding stars in the saddle brigade last week when they shared honors by riding eleven winners each. Wright is closest to the top in number of winners ridden but if Ryan maintains his pace it will not be long until he too moves to the top of the ladder. Billy Neal continues as the leader with eighty-six winners, ridden since the first of the year and adding three winners to his record last week, maintained a substantial lead over J. Marrero, who supplanted Basil James as the runner-up. Following are the records of the thirty leading American jockeys from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday. Last Jockey.
