1 V BASIL JAMES RIDING PLANS LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 5. Jockey Basil James, last years saddle champion, returns to action with the opening of Keeneland, one week from Saturday. Under contract to H. H. Cross Tranquillity Farm, James will accompany trainer Ed Snyder, who plans to race about twelve of the Cross horses at the Lexington track. Twenty-four others in the same pretentious stable will be left behind to await the Churchill Downs meeting, starting on May 1. Knights Plume, The Runner and Teddy Green are Kentucky Derby nominees in the establishment. .
