SENDING OPTIC TO BELMONT J. E. Wideners Hard Luck Horse Will Leave Hialeah Park for New York Thursday. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 5. Optic, tough luck three-year-old and other of the Joseph E. Widener horses at Hialeah. Park the entire winter, will be shipped to Belmont Park by trainer Pete Coyne this week, according to Dr. N. E. Southard, who has returned to his home here. Departure from Miami probably will take place Thursday. Optic, the Widener hope for the Flamingo Stakes, Hialcahs big special for three-year-olds; suffered a sesamoid fracture while under preparation for that stake. Other of the Widener thoroughbreds that Coyne will campaign over the New York tracks will be shipped from Elmendorf Farm, while twelve more, trained by D. E. Stewart, will come here following the close of Keeneland.
