EXERCISE BOY KILLED JAMAICA, N. Y April 23. Richard James, an exercise boy, aged 16, was killed during the training hours at Jamaica track this morning when the horse Brogan, which he was working, carried him througn the outside fence. The accident occurred at a point about midway of the six and seven furlongs posts, near the entrance to the back stretch when Brogan ran out. -James, under contract to trainer E. J. Robertson, lived at 167-21 142nd Avenue, Jamaica. He had been galloping horses for about a year. Brogan is owned by Warren H. Smock.
