j HAVRE DE GRACE N0TES J. Deering will transfer his stable to New England to await the. opening of Narragansett Park. Leo Echle, who serves as mutuel manager at many of the leading race courses, was a visitor for a few races then departed for New York on a business mission. Jockey G. Napier, promising apprentice, will accompany the L. Haymaker horses to Narragansett Park. The Haymaker stable will be shipped early next week to the New England track. Jockey A. Treptor accepted his first mount of "the meeting when he was astride Star-wink in the sixth race Saturday. Thomas Daly, announce r at Havre de de Grace, was notified of his appointment in the same capacity at Suffolk Downs. William Zakoor has made plans to take Touche, America First and Icy Wind to Narragansett Park, while the others of his stable consisting of Early Broom, Seagull and Gay Dog will remain in Maryland in charge of H. Sherman. Stake books for the meeting at Delaware Park are expected to be released from the prcs3 early Monday and will be distributed the same day by J. P. Turner, who will serve as racing secretary. B. F. Christmas acquired the useful sprinter. Masked Gal, from Harry Neusteter at private terms and withdrew the marc from the first race on Saturday. Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary at Havre de Grace and other important tracks, will leave late Tuesday for Lexington. McLennan will stop over at Keeneland Park to witness the Blue Grass Stakes, then will depart for his home in Chicago, 111. jockey Earl Steffen arrived from Keeneland Park and reported to Walter Burrows to ride Court Scandal in the Chesapeake Stakes. Steffen will return to Kceneland after fulfilling his engagement. D. II. Silberbergs four-year-old filly She-knows was excused from the first race Saturday for the reason that she "corded up" after racing Friday.
