DARK SEEKER, away slowly, but rushed into contention on the inside, disposed of PARVA STELLA after five-sixteenths, drew clear rapidly, swunr a trifle wide entering the stretch, was put to Fght urging when being straightened and won in hand. HEAVY SUGAR, lucky to find room when racing forwardly, finished strongly. PARVA STELLA was hustled to the front, was unable to draw clear, then gave way to the winner and tired near the end. ROYAL TREASURE, rank and away slowly, closed with a rush. SAN LU tired. YANKEE WATERS raced on the inside in the stretch. ANIMATE failed to keep up. COUNT COTTON, away slowly, worked his way forward through the field, was lucky to find room when reaching the lead and outfinished GRASSWRACK. The latter, outrun early and on the inside, responded fast in the drive, was steered to the outside of JOHN BANE in the final eighth and was wearing the winner down at the end. MARCHLINE, a strong factor from the start, was shuffled back entering the stretch, came fast when straightened, stumbled and lost its rider soon after the finish. OUR JOHNNY closed with a rush. CHANCABIT sprinted into a long lead early, responded well when roused, but gave way rapidly in the final eighth. AUREBON was outrun. JOHN BANE quit badly after reaching the lead on the inside.
