LATONIA TURF NOTES T L Pierce who has the Rockhome Stable horses and several others for different pa ¬ trons notified his son Gordon Pierce that he would be here Saturday morning Young Pierce is training several head which will be turned over to his father fatherLarry Larry Bogenschutz young racing official and a native of Covington Ky will open the racing secretarys office Monday morn ¬ ing for the receipt of stable registrations and applications for licenses licensesWith With quite a number of twoyearolds on the ground schooling classes will be started the first of the week The Bahr gate now in use at Churchill Downs will be transferred here over the weekend weekendJ J W Parrishs Dellor and Three Ds Stock Farms Heelfly which were shipped from Churchill Downs to fulfill their engagements in the Illinois Derby will rejoin their stables here Monday The Parrish outfit seldom misses a Latonia meeting but the Three Ds Stock Farm will be making its first trip here in several years yearsJack Jack Weaver Covington horseman who furnished Gowell winner of the 1913 Latonia Derby is bringing the W E Smith and other j horses he has in training here Sunday
