EXAMINATION OF THINKINGS HEAD SHOWS RABIES PRESENT LEXINGTON Ky May 20 C Whitney Moore and three grooms in his stable today completed treatment against rabies extend ¬ ing over a period of fourteen days When examination was made at the Kentucky Experiment Station of the head of Thinking twoyearold gray colt by Kiev Virginia Flynn by McGee it was found that rabies positively existed and the treatment fol ¬ lowed Thinking was destroyed by Dr Frazer Smith at Keeneland and Dr Smith now is completing treatment as a preventa tive Mr Moore said the colt was bitten in the nose by a dog while in a pasture at Mere Hill Farm eight months ago and that rabies germs had been latent all that time He and his men consider themselves very fortunate that they were not bitten by the
