ENGLANDS BAD WEATHER LONDON, England, Dec. 23. With deep snow drifts isolating hundreds of villages, Great Britain today faced the most miserable Christmas weather it has experienced in many years. A renewed heavy snowfall was followed by sleet and fog in London. Roads were filled with slush and the freezing weather caused waterpipes in thousands of suburban homes to burst. Nineteen additional deaths were attributed to the weather throughout the country.
