POST TIME AT TROPICAL 10:15 A. M. ON JAN. 2. MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 23. Post time for the first race at Tropical Park January 2 will J be 10:15 a. m., announced racing secretary Robert S. Shelley here today. This will enable the racing patrons and visiting loot-ball fans to get to the Orange Bowl in time for the game between Tennessee and Oklahoma. Earlier in the year the Gables Racing Association announced that it would conduct its New Years Day racing in the morning so as not to conflict with the Orange Bowl game. This decision was made in agreement with the suggestion of several Miami civic organizations interested in the Orange Bowl game. Secretary Shelley further announced that the Tropical Park track will be closed for morning work at 9 a. m. Scratch time will be as usual, 8:30 a. m. and entries for Tuesdays racing will close at 10:30 a. m. sharp.
