Won driving; second and third the same. CALANTA, slow to begin, began to improve her position after a quarter while saving ground, responded to urging in the drive and was up in the closing strides. WHITDEL, well up and in .hand for three-eighths, was put to good pressure thereafter, took command an eighth out, but could not stall off the winner. JEAN DALE, well up from the beginning, was vigorously handled after three-eighths and held on fairly well. INCARNATE had good speed from the beginning, was put to pressure when challenged on the stretch turn and tired in the drive. MOLLY GREEN, never far back, could not improve her position. MISS SELMA broke well, but bore out badly on the turn. REIGH MOUSE lugged in badly in the last quarter. RUSH -HOME broke poorly. SKIPPY McGEE forced the pace under light restraint, rallied when shaken up entering the stretch and, after disposing of MARCABALA, held CHEER STAR safe. The latter began to improve her position after a quarter, was put to good pressure on the stretch turn, was in slightly close quarters in the drive and closed well. MARCABALA had good speed from the beginning, was hard ridden after three-eighths and tired in the last three-sixteenths. BAD DREAMS, outrun for a half mile, moved up steadilv thereafter. LUCKY CHILD made up ground in the final quarter. LITTLE MARCELLE tired after a half mile. BEACON QUEEN was throueh early. REAL JAM stumbled and fell shortly after the start. ENCIRCLE forced the pace under a snug hold, was roused after a half mile and hung on doggedly in the drive. PAY CHECK, a sharp factor from the beginning and steadied along for a half mile, responded to pressure thereafter and closed well, ETHELS CHOICE, hustled along after the opening quarters, raced evenly. MINEY, vigorously handled from the beginning, closed gamely. BROADCASTER tired after three-eighths. DELAYNOT worked her way up oh the inside gradually, came to the outside in the final quarter and, despite being carried out continually all during the final eighth, wore down MOLLY FLY in the last twenty yards. The latter was hustled into the lqad soon after the start, set the pace .under mild restraint arid began bearing out in the stretch. LUCKY JEWELL was prominent for the entire trip and held on well in the drive. WAR TRADE began slowly, imprpved his position steadily and closed a good gap. BANNER WITCH tired after being well up to the last three-sixteenths. BRILLIANT ONE finished strongly. MINNIE POT had brief early speed. AJAYGEE was never a factor. Scratched 69562 LEnvoi, 104. IMPERIAL NICK made up ground after being outrun for three-quarters. MOONS MISSION gave way suddenly after showing good speed to the last quarter. EDDIE GARDNER, cleverly handled, assumed the lead after going five-eighths, bore out on the final turn, but recovered quickly and held FALSE CARD safe. The latter displayed good speed from the start, saved ground throughout and held on gamely in the drive. MISS APPREHEND was taken up repeatedly in the early stages and to the outside, bore over in the last eighth when moving up and showed a good effort. LENA J., never far out of it, was in close quarters in the last three-sixteenths, then came again when clear. MIGAL FAY was bumped severely in the last sixteenth. SILVER PALM could not keep up. LIFELIKE, a sharp factor from the beginning, was hard ridden after three-quarters, bore over on POLANTE SETH in the stretch and was caught in close quarters herself in the last sixteenth, but held on gamely. SOMEBODY, well up from the beginning, held on fairly well when called upon after five-eighths. DERBY DAWN made up ground after a half mile. JOHN DOE tired after five-eichths. COSSACK GIRL was through after five-eighths.
