TEXAS SHERIFF SELLING STOCK STOCKSWEETWATER SWEETWATER Texas June 11 Tom t ade high sheriff of Nolan County Sweet water and one of West Texas bestknown peace officers as well as thoroughbred breed ¬ ers is contemplating a sale of all his mares and younger stock Wade has mares by Harry Shaw Farmer Jim and other West Texas sires as well as some that he ob ¬ tained from the Waggoner family He has Tetros a flashy son of Phalaros out of Te trance standing at his place near Sweet water and this grey sire has some good look ¬ ing offspring at the stablishment Wade recently sold to Lew Jenkins worlds light ¬ weight boxinb champion and whose home is in Sweetwater two thoroughbred mares with sucklings at foot Jenkins probably will keep them on his recentlyacquired ranch near Lake Sweetwater Footballer Sammy Baugh also one of Sweetwaters bestknown citi ¬ zens acquired a mare from Wade as did Bulldog Turner another football star who has a small ranch there in partnership with his brother Jay Turner
