MR MOORE CARRIES SILKS OF MRS A M CREECH TO VICTORY VICTORYOMAHA OMAHA Neb June 11 Mrs A M Creech whose horses have been very suc ¬ cessful at this meeting sent the winner of Wednesdays first race to the post in the fouryearold Mr Moore The colt was a heavily backed favorite and left no doubt as to his superiority in the muddy going Sprinting to the front at the outset he soon opened up a good lead and was well in hand and two lengths in advance of his opposition at the finish Golden Nuggett was second and Kirkby third thirdThe The Creech horses are trained by Benny Creech for years noted as one ofthe most successful conditioners in the turf Creech was an Omaha regular several years ago campaigning one of the strongest strings on the grounds A mare which raced in his colors namely Shasta Gold still holds the mile track record at the plant plantCreech Creech whose sonsinlaw Ivan Parke and Ralph Mcllvain are also successful horse trainers was persuaded by presiding stew ¬ ard Richard Leigh to ship to Omaha this year He has not regretted his move as the horses of Mrs Creech have won six races including two handicaps to date
