OKAPI TO STAND IN VIRGINIA VIRGINIASTANTON STANTON Del June 11 Hugh Fontaine upon returning from a visit to Brookmeade Farm at Middleburg Va announced that Okapi which has been standing at Ira Dry mons Gallaher Farm near Lexington would return to Brookmeade Farm for the 1942 breeding season The Brookmeade mares which were sent to Kentucky to be bred to Pharamond II Sun Teddy and Briar Thorn are returning home this week While at the farm Fontaine inspected six yearling colts and six fillies by Psychic Bid two by Caval ¬ cade and one by Sun Briar
