BURMESTER KEEPS TWO COLTS TO CARRY HIS SILKS NEXT TEAR TEARFORT FORT WORTH Texas June 28 Bud Bur mester who recently sold two twoyearold colts to Weston Adams of Boston has two yearling colts in West Texas which when time comes to take them up might develop into something worth while One a strap ¬ ping bay colt is by Dr Cardenas which has sent good horses to the races out of Ma ¬ dame Sans Gene former Waggoner mare and dam of Mad Kerry Black Bud and numerous other winners winnersThe The other is a rangy gray colt by Tetros he by Phalaros out of Tetrance by the Tetrarch and out of a mare by Harry Shaw which was one of the best horses ever de ¬ veloped in Texas in his day Tetros bred by the Waggoners had blinding speed in his twoyearold year but broke down and was retired to the stud He has had excellent luck and numerous horses sired by him have won good races throughout the West Burmester has received many inquiries about these colts but plans to race them in 1942 in partnership with J O Hart who recently announced that he has started to build a fiveeighthsmile training track with a onefurlong chute and a fourteenstall brood mare barn at his St Albans Stock Farm near Hurst Texas Hart is racing a small string at Fairmount Park and will augment his stable by two when he returns Fliverty daughter of Liberty Limited and Lazy T by Mi Vila out of Certificate by Ballot to the track Monte Parke who also trains for Judge Alfred McKnight has the Hart candidates in charge
