V1RGMABREDS SUCCESSFUL SUCCESSFULMDDDLEBURG MDDDLEBURG Va June 28 Vir ¬ ginia sires may not have sent out any Whirlaways and Pilates great son Eight Thirty may miss all his further engagements just when he had stamped himself one of handicap racings great ¬ est yet 112 races were won b nineeight Virginiabred thoroughbreds so far this season These races with total first purse money amounting to 69380 were won by the sons and daughters of forty one Old Dominion stallions There were but few outstanding winners yet there were many consistent efforts and two handicaps were accounted for Ginos Madigama took the Wilmington Handi ¬ cap at Delaware Park and the speedy Augury daughter of Happy Argo won the Pytho Handicap at Hollywood Park where once she held the sevenfurlong record Virginiabreds won at Delaware Park Suffolk Downs Belmont and Charles Town Ginos were most success ¬ ful
