MICHIGAN BREEDING NOTES DETROIT Mich June 28 Dennis Alison master of the Alison Farm in Oakland County Mich recently disposed of his stallion Koodoo to the United States Remount Service The horse is now stand ¬ ing in the Pacific Northwest Alison bred twelve mares this season to outside horses Fred M Alger Jr whose 1564acre farm near Oxford Mich is one of the show places in the Wolverine State may go into breeding on a larger scale next season Several of the Alger homebreds are being raced at the Detroit Fair Grounds The stallion Polar Flight is standing at the pretentious nursery W J Dowling a member of the Michigan Racing Commission and one of the pioneer breeders in this state has fifteen mares at his Northville breeding farm Many of them foaled this season Dowling is standing the stallion Sir Ronald at his nursery and re ¬ ports that many owners sent mares to the horses court this season
