MADAMESANSGENE DESTROYED DESTROYEDSWEETWATER SWEETWATER Texas June 28 Ma ¬ dame Sans Gene by George Smith out of Queen Mab II and one of the foundation brood mares belonging to the late Colonel W T Waggoner broke her leg recently at the stock farm owned by Sheriff Tom Wade The old mare which has been a prolific producer since being retired to the stud was destroyed as there was no hope of saving her Among Madame Sans Genes bestknown foals were Mad Kerry Black Bud and a yearling colt by Dr Cardenas now at Sweetwater Mad Kerry and Black Bud were by Kilkerry former Waggoner sire Madame Sans Gene had been at Sweet water for several years Sheriff Wade ac ¬ quiring her from the late Colonel Waggoner with Petunia and Double D other Waggoner mares
