Copperman Tops Nesbitt String HOMEWOOD, 111., June 22.— Copperman heads the stable of horses George Strate brought here from New York for Hugh S. Nesbitt, Los Angeles patron. Copperman is an eligible for the Equipoise Mile, to be run on Saturday, and will be pointed for other important stakes to be run here this summer. Others in the stable are Staretor, Messari, Orange Bowl, and Gallant Rose.
