SEEING EYE took command under hustling tactics, withstood a long drivo while saving ground and drew clear in the last stages. WHAT A PLAY, a strong factor from the start and on trie outside, tired in the last stages. QUAKER, never far back, ltd much ground entering the stretch and finished strongly. BOSS BULL moved forward on the outside. was in the middle of the track in the drive and tired near the end. SIR DATE went evenly at a loss of ground. SHAKE SIR was in close quarters early and quit badly after entering the final eighth. BOHEMIA showed little. MIDWESTERNER attempted to bolt after the start and ran out badly at the turn. CRIMSON TIDE, slow to reach his best stride, worked his way forward on the outside, swept into the lead with a rush and won with something to spare. DISTANT ISLE, a factor from the start, held on well. ELBASAN, away slowly and well back for a half, closed resolutely. SONNY CASEY had fine speed and drifted out when tiring. BERET BASQUE was • in close quarters during the opening three-eighths, came fast when clear and held on well. REAPING GEM tired. KIRWIN was in close quarters for a half and tired in the drive. LAST CHICK, fast to begin and steadied eaily, was sent to the outside approaching the stretch, bore over on ROMULUS when wearing down the leaders and, thusly benefited, drew clear to win with something in reserve. BIG BOY was outrun early, came fast after entering the stretch and ilo=ed boldly. BOVENLAND opened a clear lead under strong handling, responded well after a half and tired. ROMULUS, reserved early, was moving to BOVENLAND when impeded, was eased and failed to recover. GENERAL SICKLE was in close quarters to tin? stretch and showed little thereafter. LADY MAMIE was unable to keep up. SNICKELFRITZ enjoyed prominence for a half. NEB lacked room eailv and showed little. PYLON bore in in the drive.
