BLUE PENNANT opened up a good lead swiftly and, responding well when challenged, was kept under strong pressure to hold ALL HOSS safe at the end. The latter dropped back after going a quarter and, moving up when ready, drifted out in the drive, then tired after offering a bold bid midway of the stretdi. BOBS DREAM worked his way up steadily and, sent to the inside approaching the stretch, finished strongly. DANDY FOX was weakly handled and was blocked when he attempted to come between horses in the drive. JOHNNY JR. had good speed for a half mile. LAST GOLD was unable to keep up. SILK YARN saved ground throughout, reached the lead in the straightaway and was unable to hold the winner. OUPHE cam* from well back and on the outside. PAJAS saved ground throughout. BULRUSH raced through the field, was shuffled back at the far turn and came again in the drive. OVERLAND TRAIL was blocked when ha bore to the inside in the straightaway. WISE HOBBY had speed.
