MISTUCKY, saving ground under good handling, moved up resolutely when roused approaching the stretch and retained her advantage to the end under brisk urging. BETROTHED away slowly, worked hei way up steadily on the outside and came strongly when roused in the stretch run. but could not reach the winner. OKOOLE MALUNA faltered after racing forwardly placed to the final quarter. SALLYMXR raced evenly throughout. FIELD LARK was caught in close quarters after leaving the back stretch and failed to threaten when clear. HALEALOHA tired after racing well n the inside in the stretch. AMBO was never dangerous. FIDDLERS BIT, well ridden, went to the front early and *after shaking off GREENOCK IMAGE entering the stretch, easily held TIME WAS safe. The latter, racing on the outside and outrun -arlv, moved up resolutely approaching the stretch, but bore out badly during the last three-sixteenths and could not menace the winner, though easily besting the others. INNATE, well placed early, tired after going a half mile. GREENOCK IMAGE forced the pace to the stretch, then gave way. COWLAN had early speed. Overweight — Cowlan, 1 pound. SPY SNARE, slow to reach his best stride and M the outside, moved up resolutely when hard urged in the stretch and disposed of GOLDEN MAN in the last ten yards. GOLDEN MAN, quick to begin, established a clear lead before reaching the final quarter, held on gamely during the stretch run, but could not withstand the winner. SWEEPNACK could not threaten the leaders when hard urged in the drive. BRASS KING began fast, but dropped back immediately after the start and was never dangerous thereafter. BACHELOR BOY was done after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. WISE CHANCE could not keep up. Overweight — Golden Man. 2 pounds; Brass King, 3; Wise Chance. 4. - « EIGHTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES. Won driving; second and third the same. BISCAYNE BLUE, well placed anil a sharp factor from the start, responded readily when roused entering the stretch and held on determinedly to the finish after taking command. MAGNETISM, close up throughout, went to the front in the back stretch, held a short lead until reaching the final turn and then gave way to the winner, but lasted to withstand MERITORIOUS. The latter raced to the front early and went gamely and close up the entire trip. BOSKY DELL could not threaten under good handling. BECKHAMPTON could not keep up. BABY THERESE dwelt slightly at the start and was never prominent. Claimed— Bosky Dell by Mrs. L. Fry for ,250.
