FLASHALONG, permitted to settle into his stride without being hurried early, moved to the leaders gradually and, taking the lead in the stretch, drew out to win with speed to spare. SIR KID went well placed all the way ami continued with good energy to the end. GOOBER LAD showed speed from the start and, rated along in front, withstood early opposition from SIR KID and tired during the closing drive, but just lasted to hold MILK ROUTE to a dead heat. MILK ROUTE dosed willinglv and was alone in the last straits to draw on even terms with GOOBER LAD. BLOCKADER, well placed eaily, was unable to keep up. SECOND THOUGHT was never a threat.
